In the name of Allah the beneficent, the Merciful
I've often found way in a pretty complex statement that I devised myself: 'Either the reasons are too complex or there is no reason'. Many a times I was asked to elaborate my confusions and worries and I'll find refuge in that statement. How difficult is to speak out what your heart is feeling. There are so many feelings, confusions, attachments entangled into one another making the matters of the heart very complex.
There are people who give false impressions; they make their gaze look so innocent when they are so cruel from the inside. People are able to give a false impression of their love, but, what lies inside is sheer hatred. On the other hand there are many who don't posses the quality of expressing their care and love. Their inner beauty always remains hidden.
We see everyday selections based on results that are visible. People would select their life-partner on basis of beauty, status etc. Selections will be made for organizations and companies on the past results. People would value those who outshine others in these things, these visible things, and often the most beautiful people would be hidden. Very few would know their worth. People would love to stay with those who have some authority.
The real things are so concealed. Our body is there but the soul is hidden. We see this life, but the akhirah (hereafter) is veiled. We see the physical appearance but the love, care and sincerity are unseen. People! This is not a usual sermon. I am here to remind that like the way this world is temporary and the real world is about to come, still your efforts are for this very world. We know that a fair face has to fade, but a beautiful soul will last forever, but how many keep this in view when doing some selection. Similarly, we know that qualities that can be measured through results are important but there are some other things that are of way more importance; truth, sincerity etc but how many of us do really value them?
I wish I could make an immaterial shop. It will have a love-o-meter, a sincerity-meter, a truth-o-meter, an inner beauty calculator etc. I can tell all my loved ones. See! I told you I loved you, I cared for you, I was sincere to you, but you left me, thinking me a fraud, just because I couldn't express what was in my heart, and you were too blind to see it. All those who made fun of my emotions, I would show them what my heart was when they left me, through the heartoscopy.
People would come to me and would know that their 'love' was actually a fake and his love was only -20dbs. Many boys would know that their 'cool' girl friend has a 'witch' covering her heart. Company officials would come to me 'this person is eligible for our job as far as his academics are concerned; kindly give us his detailed personality reports'. I've spent my life with a mission to 'enter paradise', and I thought it would be possible only if I would make this world a 'paradise'. That was only possible if I could make the real things really matter. I had to reverse this materialistic culture and give people eyes to see the real beauty, to see the real truth. When people would put on the lens I develop their view of the world would change. So, why not make an immaterial shop.
Of course, these gadgets would have their own harms, because humans don't forget. They can't erase something from their mind totally. Still I wish to devise a love-o-meter, a sincerity tester, an inner beauty calculator. These would revolutionize the way people think. Things would change drastically. People would strive hard to develop inner beauty because now 'it matters'! Devising these gadgets is wishful thinking. But what can happen is that people come to know that it 'does matter'. On the Day of Judgment Allah will tell us everything we did. Even the tiniest of things would be mentioned. So, it 'does matter', only if we knew. When the veil is removed, we'll start seeing things in a much better way. We'll come to know what actually mattered. So, wake up, before you're too late. Change your lens, before your eyes are closed! Beautify your heart before it stops working!
